Terms of Service

These terms cover the PracticeRC website at practicerc.com, the PracticeRC Chrome extension, and any Premium purchase you make. Using PracticeRC means you agree to them. Last updated 8 September 2026.

The short version

Who can use PracticeRC

You need to be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may use PracticeRC only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms on your behalf. You also need to be legally able to enter into this agreement where you live, and not barred from using the service under applicable law.

Your account

You sign in with Google or with an email address. Keep that sign-in secure - anything done from your account is treated as done by you. Tell us at support@practicerc.com if you think someone else has access.

One person per account

An account, free or Premium, is licensed to one individual. Selling, renting, or passing around a login is not allowed, and neither is running several accounts to get around usage limits. To keep this workable we limit how many devices can be signed in at once, and we may end older sessions when a new one starts. Accounts we reasonably believe are being shared or farmed can be suspended or permanently banned, and banned accounts are not refunded.

Usage and fair-use limits

Every test you generate costs us real money at an AI provider, and we would rather keep the price low than keep the limits secret. So: we aim to give everyone the most generous allowance the price point can carry, and we pace usage so that one very heavy user cannot make the product slow or unaffordable for everybody else.

Free accounts

Free accounts get a set number of generated tests each day - two at the time of writing - with a short wait between them, and the allowance resets daily at midnight India Standard Time. The app always tells you what you have left and when the next one is available.

Premium accounts

Premium replaces the free cap with a much larger allowance - we describe it as extended limits, or a full study session's worth every day, and that is meant literally rather than as a figure of speech. You can generate several tests back to back and far more per day than a serious session needs. It is not, however, without any limit at all. Behind the scenes there is a burst allowance, then a spacing interval between further tests, and a daily ceiling set well above real study behaviour. If you study normally you will not meet these. If you do, the app tells you when your next test is available, and everything comes back at the daily reset. Where any older copy still says "unlimited", read it as this: generous, and paced.

Things we may adjust

These limits are operational settings, not promises of a fixed quantity, and we may tune them - up or down - as model costs, abuse patterns, and capacity change. We will not make a change that guts what you paid for during a Premium period you have already bought. We may also apply tighter limits to a specific account where usage looks automated, abusive, or aimed at extracting our question bank in bulk.

Acceptable use

Don't do these things with PracticeRC:

We may suspend or terminate an account that does any of this, without a refund.

Content you submit

You keep ownership of the passages, articles, and text you paste or select. By submitting them you give us the permission we need to run the product: to store that text, send it to our AI provider, generate questions from it, and show you the result and your history. That permission exists only to operate and improve PracticeRC for you - we do not publish your submissions or sell them.

Only submit text you have the right to use. Articles you are reading are usually fine for your own private practice; do not submit material you are contractually or legally barred from copying, and do not submit personal or confidential information about other people.

Generated questions, scores, and accuracy

Passages, questions, options, explanations, report cards, and drills are produced by an AI model. They are study material, and they are imperfect: an answer key can be arguable, an explanation can be wrong, and a difficulty rating is an estimate. PracticeRC is a practice tool, not a guarantee of any exam result, and nothing here is official exam content.

CAT is administered by the Indian Institutes of Management and GMAT by GMAC. PracticeRC is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to either, or to any other exam body. Exam names are used only to describe the format a test imitates.

Everything we generate for you is licensed to you for your own personal, non-commercial study. Our own site content, code, branding, and prompts stay ours.

Premium and payments

Availability, changes, and ending things

We are a small team shipping fast. Features arrive, change, and occasionally get removed, and the service can be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

You can stop using PracticeRC at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and data by emailing support@practicerc.com. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms. If we discontinue the service entirely while you hold unused Premium days, we will say so in advance and do what is fair about the remaining time.

Disclaimers and liability

PracticeRC is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that generated content is accurate, complete, or suited to any particular exam or purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses - including lost study time, lost data, or exam outcomes. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.

Privacy

What we collect, why, and how long we keep it is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The current version always lives at this URL with its "last updated" date. If a change is material we will make it visible in the app. Continuing to use PracticeRC after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute - without affecting mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live. Before starting anything formal, email us: most things are faster to fix by talking.
